Write Back a partner in the Loud and Local Project worked to help young people across Barking & Dagenham express their real experiences through writing, art and storytelling. The young people produced honest, powerful work about life in the borough, highlighting issues like safety, community, opportunity and support, while also sharing bold ideas for change.
Through this project, their voices became clear, creative and unfiltered, offering a snapshot of what young people feel, need and hope for. The work stands as a reminder that when given the space to speak, young people don’t just tell stories, they shape the future.
